Tour Overview
Day 1
Delhi (Arrival)
Following your arrival in Delhi, meet our IHPL representative who’ll give you a traditional welcome and escort you to the hotel. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2
Delhi
Post breakfast in the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. The famous tourist places you will visit here include India Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Gandhi Memorial and the Parliament House. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 3
Delhi - Jaipur
In the morning, leave by road for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in at the hotel to rest and relax. Later, go out for a sightseeing tour of Jaipur covering City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4
Jaipur
In the morning, leave by road to visit Amer Fort. Thereafter, take an elephant ride to reach the entrance of the fort. There are several grand palaces and fortifications inside the complex. In the afternoon, go out to enjoy shopping and sightseeing in Jaipur. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5
Jaipur - Ranthambore
In the morning, hit the road to Ranthambore National Park. Upon arrival, check into the wildlife resort. The afternoon is booked for a wildlife safari in the national park. In the evening, enjoy a nature talk/slideshow. Stay overnight in the wildlife resort.
Day 6
Ranthambore
Early morning, enjoy a game safari in the Ranthambore National Park and return back for breakfast. Post breakfast in the morning, visit the famous Ranthambore Fort or you can just relax in your hotel room. In the afternoon, go inside the park for another game safari. Stay overnight at the resort in Ranthambore.
Day 7
Bharatpur
Today, in the morning, leave by road for Bharatpur. Upon arrival, check into your designated hotel to rest and relax. Later, take a cycle ride for bird watching in Koladeo National Park, popular as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Having served as the hunting grounds of erstwhile Maharajas of Bharatpur, the sanctuary is today a home to more than 400 species of avifauna. Stay overnight at the hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 8
Agra
Today, take a road trip to Agra. En-route, halt at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal town built by emperor Akbar. On reaching Agra, check in at the hotel for night stay.
Day 9
Agra
Today, embark on a full day tour of Agra. The places you will visit here include Taj Mahal (the white marble monument commissioned by Shah Jahan; one of the Seven Wonders of the World) and Agra Fort (the erstwhile demesne of the Mughal rulers). Stay overnight in Agra.
Day 10
Departure
Today is your day to bid goodbye to the ‘Golden Triangle and Tiger Tour’ package and board flight for onward destination.
