Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at Colombo - Kandy
Upon Arrival at Colombo Airport On arrival, Meet and Greet with our local representative. Enroute
visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Kandy City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy sightseeing tour of Kandy. Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden - First built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was later expanded by the British. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy, thereafter witness a cultural show. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast at the hote. Today proceed to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit a Tea Plantation - Sri Lanka, Tea and Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Take a tour to the cold and misty hills that take pride of an ultimate tea tour, covering lush green blankets of tea plantations. Or just step into a tea factory processing the prestigious
brand of Ceylon Tea, to observe a rich tradition kept alive up to date. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4
Nuwara Eliya - Colombo
After breakfast at the hotel. Today, travel to Colombo via Kitulgala, the location where Oscar winning film Bridge on the River Kwai
was filmed. Upon arrival in Colombo, enjoy a shopping in Colombo. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Departure from Colombo
After breakfast at the hotel, check out from hotel @ 12:00 hrs and proceed to Colombo airport for your onward journey.
