Tour Overview
Day 1
Leh
Arrival at Leh airport. Received by our representative and transferred to Hotel. Complete rest for acclimatization must. Welcome tea/coffee will be served. Overnight Hotel NO ACTIVITY explores the local market.
Day 2
Sightseeing
Sightseeing to monasteries, Shey, Thiksey, Hemis & Sindhu Ghat. Overnight hotel.
Day 03
Nubra Valley
Visit Nubra Valley. (Diskit, Sumur & Hundar). Night at Camp/ Hut.
Day 04
Diskit
After visiting Diskit, Hundar drive back to Leh. Over night at hotel. (02 hour hike from Hundar to Diskit through sand dunes, easy one).
Day 05
Hemis-Shukpachen
After breakfast leave for HEMIS-SHUKPACHEN village, around 54 kms from Leh. A tranquil village with a small gompa, green pastures and bubbling brook. Find some mature cider trees giving it the name (shukpa means cider). En-route visit Basgo, Likir & Alchi monasteries. Overnight Home Stay. The purpose of keeping in local house is to interact with locals and understand culture. Accommodation is basic. [CHECK-OUT LEH HOTEL]
Day 06
Temisgam
After an early breakfast start your trek ; Hemis-Shukpachen to Temisgam. It’s of around 04 - 05hrs. Cross by a small pass Meptek-la 3750m and a beautiful village of Ang to reach Temisgam. Villages get more prosperous and fertile the further west you travel along this route. With its beautiful fields & tress Ang is a fine example. In 14th & 15th century the lower kingdom was controlled from BASGO and TEMISGAM. After finishing the trek drive back to leh. Overnight hotel.
Day 07
Departure
Transfer to Airport, Fly back.
